Do you have an instrument already?
If you would like some help in finding an instrument, I highly recommend getting in touch with Peter at "ME Strings" http://www.me-strings.co.uk/ who stocks a large variety of both new and second hand violins / violas and accessories. He will make sure you end up with the right size and a beautiful sounding instrument within your budget. Peter is super lovely and will even let you trade your old violin in for a new one (you pay the difference). This comes in handy, especially when your growing child needs to upsize every few years. You'll need to email (email@example.com) or call him (01449 741835) to arrange a meeting. Please tell him I sent you! :)
If you are not ready to commit to buying your own violin, you could consider renting one from Balaam's Music in Bury St Edmunds. They usually stock a variety of instruments to buy and rent: http://www.balaamsmusic.org.uk/
If neither of these options suit you, try giving your local music shop a call to see if they stock violins, and whether you can go in to be fitted for the right size.
Otherwise you can order online, although we have had some cases where instruments have been damaged in the mail. If you cannot get to Me Strings or to another music shop, then I would suggest ordering from here: www.gear4music.com
Stentor violins are usually very reliable student violins/violas. Just make sure you select the appropriate size.
